Our Affiliation & Family of Churches

Olive Chapel is a local church in New Carlisle with a global family behind it. We are part of the Assemblies of God and supported by our parent church, La Porte Assembly of God. Here’s what that means and why it matters.

What We Believe

A Letter From Our Pastor

At Olive Chapel, we believe God has planted us in New Carlisle for a purpose—to help people meet Jesus, grow in their faith, and experience real community. And we’re grateful we don’t do this work alone.

Olive Chapel is part of the Assemblies of God, a global family of churches committed to sharing the gospel and making disciples. More than 89 million believers around the world worship in Assemblies of God congregations, and we’re honored to be part of that movement.

But our story is also deeply local.

Olive Chapel was relaunched and supported by La Porte Assembly of God, our parent church located just 20 minutes west of here. La Porte AG provides pastoral covering, guidance, and encouragement as we grow—and they played a vital role in helping us restore and reopen this historic church for the people of New Carlisle.

Being part of this family doesn’t make us less “Olive Chapel.” It strengthens us. It anchors us in biblical truth, healthy leadership, and worldwide mission.

We remain a church rooted in this community, led by local pastors who love the people of New Carlisle—while standing shoulder-to-shoulder with a movement committed to reaching the world for Jesus.

Thank you for taking time to learn about who we are and how we’re connected. We can’t wait to walk this journey with you.

Our Parent Church: La Porte Assembly of God

Olive Chapel exists today because of the faithfulness and generosity of La Porte Assembly of God, our parent church located just down the road in La Porte, Indiana.

La Porte AG helped relaunch Olive Chapel, providing prayer, financial support, leadership, and guidance as this historic church was restored and reopened for the people of New Carlisle.

We share the same heart, mission, and Assemblies of God affiliation. Olive Chapel has its own local identity, ministry team, and weekly services, but we remain deeply connected to the church that helped us launch and continues to support us.
